01 / ABOUT
Engineer. Software Developer. Strategist. Analyst. Data Scientist. Technician. Artist. Musician. Father. Husband. Friend.
Russell Benzing is a husband, a father, an engineer, a software developer, and technology enthusiast based in Southwest Florida. He leads a development team at CallMiner, where he combines hands-on technical experience with a focus on solving complex problems, building strong teams, and turning ideas into practical solutions. Outside of CallMiner, Russell runs Benzing Domains, providing domain registration and hosting services, and is a co-founder of SWFL Hackerspace, Inc., a community-driven space where people can build, experiment, learn, and share their passion for technology.
Russell has a particular fondness for figuring out how things work—and then finding ways to make them work better. His interests span software, infrastructure, IoT, electronics, radio frequencies, 3D printing, and all manner of hands-on technology projects. He's equally at home writing code, tinkering with hardware, troubleshooting a stubborn system, or going down an unexpected rabbit hole simply because something sparked his curiosity.
Away from the keyboard, Russell enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, typically watching movies or doing outdoor activities and two dogs keep his life interesting. When he's not working or building something, you'll likely find him gaming, exploring the web, or indulging his passion for Audi Engineering. Whether it's software, hardware, automotive, or an obscure technical problem that needs solving, Russell's approach is much the same: stay curious, dig deeper, and see what's possible.

05.1 / PROTOCOL
Agent Context Compression Protocol (ACCP)
This document specifies the Agent Context Compression Protocol (ACCP), a semantic encoding and context management protocol for communication between AI agents within agentic harnesses. ACCP defines a compact message format, intent ontology, state compression strategy, and codec interface that collectively reduce token consumption by 60-90% compared to natural language or standard JSON messaging. ACCP is designed to complement existing protocols (MCP, A2A) and is transport-agnostic.
